Draft Instructional Calendars: 2025/26 and 2026/27
The Board of Education for School 成人头条 No. 64 (Gulf Islands) is required to create and approve a calendar that meets the legislative requirements of the and the Board’s Collective Agreement with the Gulf Islands Teachers’ Association (GITA). This year, the Board is considering adopting calendars for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 school years as part of the district's consecutive three-year school calendar.
The draft calendars accommodate a four-day school week and meet the minimum hours of instruction required under the .

The Board of Education welcomes the opportunity to hear from the SD64 (Gulf Islands) community. Please share with us your comments regarding the DRAFT 2025/26 and 2026/27 school calendars as a continuation of the district's three-year school calendar. The calendars accommodate a four-day school week and meet the minimum hours of instruction required under the School Act.

March 31, 2024 Deadline for calendar submission to the Ministry.
Feedback will be collected until January 5, 2024. Comments will be submitted to the Board of Education and changes to the draft calendar will be considered at the public meeting on January 10, 2024. The Board of Education will make its final decision regarding the proposed calendars at the February 14, 2024, public meeting.
Once passed by the Board and approved by the Ministry of Education, final calendars will be posted on the school district website and circulated to families and staff (at least one month before the end of the current school year as per the ).
